Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works in Palmdale/Fort Worth is seeking a GNC Software Engineer to contribute to navigation and timing systems on advanced aircraft programs. You will develop algorithms, generate software from models, and test integrated hardware/software solutions.

The role requires Matlab/Simulink proficiency, C/C++ and scripting skills, and experience with Kalman filters; occasional travel to collaborate across sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aeronautical/aerospace engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Proficiency with Matlab and Simulink software.
• Working knowledge of C, C++ and/or scripting languages (Lua, Python).
• Experience with Kalman filter design and application to meet performance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms from fundamentals and generate software from models.
• Integrate and test hardware/software solutions.
• Collaborate with a multi-site team and communicate with stakeholders.
• Travel occasionally for team interaction and test activities.
