Job summary

EVONA in Irvine, CA is seeking a GN&C Manager to lead the GN&C discipline across new spacecraft programs. You will own the subsystem technically, set direction, oversee architecture and design, resolve risks and support major reviews.

This role balances technical leadership with people management, enabling you to grow the US GN&C team while maintaining hands-on engineering in modeling, simulation, and algorithms with MATLAB/Simulink, C++, Python and STK.

Qualifications

• Strong spacecraft GN&C experience.
• Previous technical leadership or people management.
• Full spacecraft lifecycle experience.
• Modeling, simulation and algorithm background.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C++, Python and/or STK.

Responsibilities

I’m supporting a global space company that designs, builds and operates one of the world’s leading satellite constellations as they significantly expand their US engineering capability.

They’re looking for a GN&C Manager to build and lead the discipline while taking technical accountability for GN&C across new spacecraft programs.

This isn’t a pure people management role. You’ll own the subsystem technically, setting direction, overseeing architecture and design, resolving risks and supporting programs through major technical reviews.
