Job summary

EVONA in Irvine, CA is seeking a GN&C Manager to lead the GN&C discipline across new spacecraft programs. You will own the subsystem technically, set direction, oversee architecture and design, resolve risks and support major reviews.

This role balances technical leadership with people management, enabling you to grow the US GN&C team while maintaining hands-on engineering in modeling, simulation, and algorithms with MATLAB/Simulink, C++, Python and STK.

Qualifications

• Strong spacecraft GN&C experience.
• Previous technical leadership or people management.
• Full spacecraft lifecycle experience.
• Modeling, simulation and algorithm background.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C++, Python and/or STK.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the US GN&C team.
• Own GN&C architecture and technical direction.
• Oversee attitude control, navigation, flight dynamics and 6DOF modeling & simulation.
• Drive pointing, stability, jitter and spacecraft maneuvering performance.
• Guide selection and integration of sensors and actuators.
• Own technical risks, reviews and subsystem performance.
• Establish processes and infrastructure needed as new programs scale.
