Job summary

Blue Origin, within the Lunar Permanence unit, seeks a seasoned GN&C leader to drive guidance, navigation, and control for the Mk1 vehicle. You will manage people, define technical plans, and oversee subsystem design, analysis, and testing through development and flight certification.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure milestones are met with rigorous quality. This on-site Florida role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and mission success.

Qualifications

• MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering or related subject areas with at least 10 years of design experience.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge in the development of spacecraft GN&C systems.
• Experience in full development lifecycle of GN&C subsystem on at least one aerospace program.
• Experience in development and testing of navigation sensors and control actuators.
• Experience in rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking missions.
• Experience in personnel management, including performance management and team growth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire staff and develop a high-performing GN&C team.
• Lead GN&C subsystem design decisions and coordinate with other subsystems.
• Manage budgets and schedules for GN&C development.
• mentor team and align with program goals.
• Deliver robust GN&C analysis products for flight hardware and software.
