Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Chandler, AZ is seeking engineers with Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) experience to join our on-site team. You will design and test missile flight code within 6DoF simulation environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required
• Directly related GNC experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, verify, and test high-quality software and simulation toolchains
• Work on a 6 degree of freedom (6DoF) simulation to design and test missile flight code
• Work with 6DoF simulation models to evaluate system performance
• Experience with missile flight dynamics, autopilot and guidance design, and implementation into missile flight code
• Experience with various trajectory optimization software and tools
