Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a GNC Engineer to maintain and upgrade attitude determination systems on Starlink satellites and to enhance the Stargaze object detection pipeline. You will analyze sensor performance and contribute to future navigation and space-domain awareness sensors.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and hands-on experience with C++/Python, gyroscopes, star trackers, and FP/GPUs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, aerospace, physics or an engineering discipline.
• Experience with C++ and Python development.
• Knowledge of attitude determination, star trackers, and sensor fusion.
• Strong problem solving and independent work ability.
• Excellent cross-disciplinary communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade, and operate attitude determination systems onboard Starlink satellites.
• Maintain, upgrade, and operate the object detection pipeline for Stargaze space surveillance.
• Analyze sensor performance and support the design of future navigation sensors.
