Job summary

FutureCare in Maryland is seeking a Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our frontline care team. You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and work closely with nursing staff to ensure comfort and safety.

This role requires a current GNA license in Maryland, strong communication, empathy, and teamwork. Weekend shifts include a $7/hour differential, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current GNA license in Maryland.

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with completion of resident activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, oral care, and other basic needs.
• Perform vital signs on residents at beginning of each shift and as directed.
• Answer calls for assistance and observe changes in resident’s behavior, emotional state, or physical condition.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Assist in transporting residents as needed.
• Provide companionship to residents.
• Ensure the safety of our residents.
• Assist with motivating residents to help keep them active and engaged.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment.

***Competitive Pay $19-$23/hr and Shift Differentials!***

***Additional $7 per hour differential pay for all weekend hours worked.***
