Job summary

Digital Prospectors seeks a GN&C Systems Analyst to support analysis and design of guidance, navigation, and control algorithms and flight software. The role evaluates system performance, verifies requirements, and analyzes flight dynamics and trajectory dispersions.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering with strong MATLAB and Simulink expertise, including Bus objects and S-functions, and a solid background in aircraft, spacecraft, and missile dynamics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink, including Bus objects, S-functions, and embedded MATLAB.
• Knowledge of GN&C algorithm techniques and simulation modeling techniques.
• Background in aircraft, spacecraft, and missile dynamics.
• Experience with linear analysis of closed-loop performance, including inner- and outer-loop performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design GN&C algorithms and flight software.
• Assess control, navigation, and guidance system performance.
• Verify algorithms and associated requirements.
• Analyze flight dynamics and trajectory dispersions.
• Use time-domain simulations, covariance-based methods, and Monte Carlo dispersion analyses to assess and tune system performance.
• Document methodologies, findings, and analysis results.
