Job summary

Lonza Group in Florida is seeking a GMP Trainer to develop employee knowledge across our manufacturing operations. You will design and deliver training programs, support onboarding and qualification activities, and keep training systems compliant with regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Safety teams to build a skilled workforce that backs operational excellence. The role includes creating materials, delivering classroom and hands-on training, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience in manufacturing, training, or a related environment.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or cGMP-regulated environment preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience creating training content, assessments, and employee development materials.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and training records.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, on-the-job training programs, job aids, and assessments.
• Deliver classroom and hands-on training covering safety, GMP, GDP, equipment operation, and site procedures.
• Support onboarding, qualification, cross-training, and refresher training programs.
• Maintain accurate training records, qualification documentation, and training matrices.
• Partner with Safety, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure training meets business and compliance requirements.
• Identify skill gaps and implement training solutions to improve employee performance and effectiveness.
• Support training activities across multiple shifts as business needs require.
