Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking individuals to support scale-up and manufacturing of mammalian and microbial fermentation/purification processes for clinical and toxicology supplies.

Positions are full-time, Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with overtime as needed. Excellent benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and merit-based increases.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BS/BA in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or equivalent.
• 0–2+ years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment (bioprocess or chemical process).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Demonstrated capability to work as a team member in a matrix development team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, execution and evaluation of GMP manufacturing operations (seed train, bioreactors/fermenters, centrifugation, filtration, chromatography, UF/DF, conjugation, lyophilization).
• CIP, SIP, aseptic sampling, parts washing, documentation, work order generation, and data entry/evaluation.
• Communicate and collaborate with various groups and leaders in a matrix organization.

Job Description

Eurofins PSS is looking for new team members for our team to help support and join our diverse team to help assist on scale up and manufacturing of mammalian and microbial fermentation/purification processes for clinical and toxicology supplies.

• Duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Set up, execution and evaluation of GMP manufacturing unit operations such as seed train, bioreactors/fermenters, centrifugation, filtration, chromatography, UF/DF, conjugation and lyophilization.
  • CIP, SIP, aseptic sampling, parts washing, documentation, work order generation, and data entry/evaluation.
  • Willrequirecommunication andinteraction with various groups and leaders in collaboration!

Qualifications

• Associate's degreeor BS/BA in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or equivalent.
• Requires a minimum 0 to 2+ years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment (bioprocess or chemical process industry).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Demonstrated capability to work as a team member in a matrix development team.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office required, especially MS Word, MS Excel.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in a Biological Pilot Plant or Commercial Manufacturing setting is desired.
• Knowledge of fermentation and or downstream processing techniques.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs and stand for 8-hour shift.
