Job summary

WuXi AppTec Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor in New York to ensure GMP-compliant operations, uphold hygiene and safety standards, and oversee production schedules. You will supervise operators and technicians, coordinate site visits, and develop operational procedures for packaging and equipment.

The role requires a strong background in GMP environments, leadership, and ability to work across internal and external stakeholders. English language proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree with 6+ years in manufacturing site operations.
• Experience leading and managing a team.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and basic IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan work and supply needs for the site.
• Communicate and explain work instructions to staff.
• Train staff on procedures and SOPs.
• Assign workstations and coordinate team activities.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with support services.
• Operate production lines when needed and maintain cohesion.
• Propose improvements in work organization.
• Review packaging records before QA review.
• Serve as main contact during audits.
