Job summary

OcyonBio PR Inc. seeks a dedicated Sanitation Operator to maintain cleanliness in CNC, ISO 8, and ISO 7 cleanrooms in Aguadilla, PR. You will execute cleaning schedules, support aseptic operations, and document sanitation activities with strong attention to detail.

The role requires adherence to SOPs, GMP standards, and PPE protocols, with flexibility for early shifts and weekends in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Life Sciences or related field preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food processing, or GMP-regulated environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to SOPs and safety protocols.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, based on cleaning rotation needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanitation and cleaning activities for cleanrooms and supporting areas according to established schedules (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Complete gowning training and qualification, and follow gowning, degowning, and contamination-control procedures.
• Maintain gowning integrity during sanitation activities and report issues affecting safety or contamination control.
• Follow SOPs and cleaning protocols to maintain FDA, EMA, and GMP standards.
• Handle and prepare cleaning solutions, disinfectants, and sanitizing agents.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of sanitation activities per GMP requirements.
• Support environmental monitoring activities and ensure areas are in a state of control.
• Collaborate with Quality and Operations to ensure processes are documented and audit-ready.
• Assist in periodic deep cleaning, equipment wipe-downs, and facility shutdown/startup sanitation.
• Identify and report deviations, risks, or facility issues promptly.
