Job summary

Pegasus Laboratories, Inc. in Pensacola, FL seeks a Laboratory Administrative Technician to support GMP-compliant lab operations, supplier coordination, and documentation across sample handling, purchasing, and maintenance.

You will maintain SOPs, ensure SDS accessibility, manage inventory, and assist with safety programs while collaborating with a growing employee-owned team. Experience with Excel reporting and COA documentation preferred; physical duties include lifting 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• GMP knowledge and notebook documentation standards.
• OSHA hazard communication and safe handling practices.
• Experience with Excel/Word for documentation and reporting.
• Be able to lift 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and store materials and samples following SOPs.
• Oversee contract lab activities and communicate with external reps.
• Track sample progress and record COA results in Excel-based tools.
• Revise SOPs and GMP documentation as needed.
• Maintain SDS in MSDS system and ensure accessibility.
• Manage purchasing, inventory, and supplier quotes within budget.
• Maintain lab safety checks and clean storage areas monthly.
• Serve as Hazardous Waste coordinator and ensure proper disposal.
• Support equipment upkeep and PPE storage for safety readiness.
