Job summary

Silgan Plastics is seeking a candidate to keep the packing area organized safely in accordance with GMP and housekeeping standards. The role requires awareness of surroundings and adherence to safety protocols, including LOTO and ergonomic considerations.

You will ensure bottle quality requirements are understood and documented, pack configurations per BOM, and communication of quality issues to supervisors to support production quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Awareness of surroundings including slip/trips/falls.
• Ergonomic and repetitive motion considerations for safe handling.
• Proper use of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Ability to document and communicate quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure packing area is organized safely per GMP and housekeeping standards.
• Understand bottle quality requirements and document them.
• Understand packing configurations according to BOM requirements.
• Communicate quality related issues to supervisors and managers.
