Job summary

Amneal is seeking a Packaging Operator II in New York to safely operate packaging equipment and package in-process products in compliance with SOPs and cGMP. You will verify labels, ensure equipment is set correctly, keep the packaging area clean, and document batch records.

Additional duties include in-process checks and calibrating scales and disposing of rejected materials. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and 2+ years in Pharma packaging (or 3+ without HS/GED), knowledge

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years in Pharmaceuticals Packaging/Manufacturing with HS/GED; 3+ years without HS/GED in pharma manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety, cGMP and SOP.
• Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.

Responsibilities

• Verify product/outserts/labels per specs and records.
• Check packaging equipment settings and operation.
• Maintain clean and organized packaging line/room.
• Document packaging batch records.
• Perform in-process checks and record data.
• Verify calibration status of scales/equipment and dispose of rejected items properly.
