Job summary

CordenPharma is seeking a Microbiology Supervisor to lead daily microbiology lab operations in a GMP environment. You will oversee environmental monitoring, EMPQ activities, water testing, and contamination control, ensuring accuracy, schedule adherence and regulatory compliance.

The role requires leadership and collaboration with QA, QC, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Validation teams. You will train staff, manage lab inventory, and support product release and stability testing, with emphasis

Qualifications

• BS/BA in biology or microbiology with 1–5 years in a GMP environment.
• Familiarity with FR 21 and ICH GMP guidelines.
• Strong written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to lead multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all microbiology-related activities in a GMP lab.
• Maintain schedules for weekly, monthly, and quarterly testing of water systems and clean rooms.
• Lead investigations of deviations, OOS, OOT, and monitoring excursions.
• Train and supervise microbiology staff; collaborate with QA, QC, Manufacturing, and Validation.
