Job summary

Katalyst CRO is seeking a detail-oriented Scientific Operations/ Manufacturing Technician III to support manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products in a regulated GMP lab environment.

Responsibilities include operating production equipment, weighing materials, performing in-process tests, and assisting with validations while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Strong documentation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with a technical certification in laboratory operations or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in a scientific discipline with 2–3 years of laboratory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 1–2 years of laboratory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks independently.
• Comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Working knowledge of English to read procedures and interpret diagrams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble clinical and commercial products according to procedures.
• Operate production equipment maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Weigh, measure, and verify raw materials for batch specs.
• Assist with in-process testing and quality checks.
• Support validation activities for filtration, cleaning and sterilization.
• Prepare solutions, powders, and liquid mixtures for production.
• Handle safe collection, disposal of chemicals and laboratory waste.
• Assist training of new team members and onboarding.
• Provide operational support to leads and supervisors.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Follow GMP and SOPs; adhere to safety and compliance policies.
• Work overtime as needed to support production needs.
