Job summary

Katalyst CRO is seeking a Manufacturing Packaging Technician to support lab-based production operations, including filling, inspection, labelling, and packaging of biological reagents and research products. This role emphasizes manufacturing and laboratory production, not warehouse shipping.

The ideal candidate has hands-on lab equipment experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to follow GMP documentation and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months in lab, pharma, biotech, medical device, or manufacturing.
• Experience with liquid filling, bottling, labeling, or packaging operations.
• Familiar with SAP/ERP or electronic manufacturing docs.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Able to follow procedures and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab-based filling and dispensing of reagents into vials.
• Operate pipettes, peristaltic pumps, balances, and packaging equipment.
• Prepare and stage production materials and documentation.
• Execute packaging steps per SOPs.
• Record production activities in SAP or manufacturing systems.
• Support inventory by receiving and storing supplies.
• Maintain records, batch docs, inventory counts.
• Perform visual inspections of components and finished goods.
• Assist with production scheduling and priorities.
• Follow GMP, GDP, and safety procedures.
