Job summary

Actalent seeks a Manufacturing Technician in Clayton, NC to set up, operate, and monitor GMP equipment for filling and packaging lines. You will follow SOPs, keep accurate batch records, and support production goals in a regulated environment.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to train others, and reliability on a 2-2-3 shift pattern from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. This contract position is onsite in Clayton, NC.

Qualifications

• Experience applying GMP in a regulated environment.
• Experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in a cleanroom.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and stay focused.
• Strong attention to detail with components and production data.
• Ability to accurately record information in batch production records.
• Able to follow SOPs and safety procedures consistently.
• Willingness to train others and learn new systems.
• Reliable with punctuality and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and control manufacturing equipment for filling and packaging.
• Clean and sanitize rooms and equipment per SOPs.
• Execute production schedule to meet daily and long-term goals.
• Manage labeling, counting, FIFO, and returns.
• Support event response and address operational issues.
• Review and author SOPs/documentation to support operations.
• Identify and report quality issues promptly.
• Perform maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance.
• Train fellow employees and learn new systems.
• Record production data in batch production records.
• Uphold safety and environmental requirements; promote safety culture.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
