Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Purification Technician I/II in Clayton, NC to support GMP production efforts in a global healthcare setting.

The role involves cleaning, assembling/disassembling equipment, maintaining records, and assisting with process control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Level I/II duties include housekeeping, equipment operation, sample prep, and safety adherence across shifts.

Qualifications

• + Basic math skills, basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, detail oriented, team environment and good judgment.
• + High school diploma or equivalent; Bioworks Certificate preferred.
• + Minimum 12 months as a Technician in the respective department; Meets expectations on performance review.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping in GMP environment.
• Maintain records/logs during production run.
• Assemble, disassemble, clean and sterilize production equipment.
• Operate production equipment (centrifuge, ultrafiltration units, autoclaves, pasteurizers).
• Operate forklift safely.
• Prepare buffer solutions and process intermediates.
• Perform pH and buffer additions.
• Weigh powders, chemicals and reagents; perform related calculations.
