Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) in Massachusetts is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee daily operations for Arista and Aspen lines. You will coordinate workflow, train operators, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery on the factory floor.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, strong leadership, and familiarity with lean tools. On‑site work is expected with 4 days in the facility per week, with a transition to a second shift after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign and coordinate daily work activities based on production priorities.
• Monitor workflow and staffing throughout the shift and communicate resource needs.
• Support schedule attainment and daily production goals.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and quality requirements.
• Train, onboard, and cross-train operators.
• Support safety initiatives and maintain a clean manufacturing environment.
• Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for day-to-day operational issues.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Materials, and Maintenance.
• Assist in production activities as business needs require.
