Job summary

Amgen in West Greenwich, Rhode Island, is seeking an Associate Manufacturing - Days (A Shift) to perform downstream operations in a GMP environment. You will monitor protein purification processes and operate across Delta V/LIMS/EBRs, following SOPs and batch records.

The role involves 12‑hour rotating shifts (7am–7pm) with two-week rotations, weekend premiums, and onboarding hours during initial weeks. A related degree or equivalent experience is required; preferred candidates have biotech

Qualifications

• High school/GED with 2 years manufacturing or operations experience, or associate’s with 6 months experience, or bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of GMP and analytical methods for manufacturing.
• Experience with Delta V and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform downstream manufacturing operations and monitor GMP-compliant processes.
• Perform in-process sampling, chromatography, and UF/DF operations.
• Draft and revise Manufacturing Procedures, Deviations, and batch records.
• Troubleshoot and support documentation review, and participate in cross-functional teams.
• Identify and implement CAPA/Continuous Improvement opportunities.
• Maintain an inspection-ready workspace and manage inventory.
• Collaborate with Delta V/LIMS/EBRs to complete operations.
