Job summary

Amgen is hiring an Associate Manufacturing (Days) to join our Rhode Island facility. You will perform purification operations, ensuring GMP compliance and proper documentation in batch records.

The role includes a 12-hour rotating shift (7 AM–7 PM) with a two-week rotation, offering weekend time off on alternate weekends. Strong teamwork and problem-solving in a fast-paced biopharma setting are essential.

Qualifications

• High school/GED plus 2 years of manufacturing or ops experience, or associate’s with 6 months’ experience, or bachelor’s in a related field.
• Knowledge of purification operations and scalable bioprocessing is a plus.
• Ability to interpret GMP requirements and document in batch records.

Responsibilities

• Perform GMP manufacturing operations in purification; follow SOPs.
• Operate MES, DeltaV, and ERP systems; document activities.
• Draft and revise Manufacturing Procedures, SOPs, and technical reports.
• Support safety, quality, and Lean initiatives within the team.
• Collaborate with diverse teams and escalate issues as needed.
