Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our GMP-regulated gummy manufacturing facility in Copiague, NY. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot production equipment, and repair utilities to keep operations safe, compliant, and efficient.

The role requires reading manuals and blueprints, logging maintenance in Limble CMMS, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Night, weekend, and overtime shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in equipment repair, maintenance and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing).
• High school diploma or GED; 2-year related diploma.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and electromechanical controls.
• Experience with electrical components; HVAC and chiller systems is a plus.
• Must read, write, and understand English.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Operate and log preventive maintenance in Limble CMMS.
• Read and follow instructions and operation manuals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Read blueprints to fabricate equipment and modifications.
• Repair or replace chains, belt conveyors, gear boxes/drive chains, hydraulics & pneumatics, welding/cutting, and use power tools.
• Maintain HVAC systems, water softener systems, chiller units and other utilities.
• Prioritize safety in approach to all work activities.
• Focus on Continuous Improvement to streamline work processes.
