Job summary

Rangam Consultants seeks an organized sample coordination professional to support GMP pharma operations in a laboratory setting. The role entails managing daily sample activities, updating LIMS documentation, and training staff on procedures.

You will receive, inspect, and distribute samples, perform stability pulls, and maintain inventory and calendars for onsite and offsite storage, with potential for supervisory duties. A valid driver’s license and local travel are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of GMP pharma experience in a lab or sample management role.
• Ability to understand chemical hygiene and safety in a laboratory environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with consistent high-quality output.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the sample coordination area and supervise at least one direct report.
• Maintain and update sample documentation in the LIMS system and train staff on its use.
• Receive and inspect incoming samples per Pearl procedures and governing documents.
• Pull samples, actuators, dose indicators, or related items and distribute to lab staff for testing; train staff.
• Perform stability sets and pulls per governing documents.
• Manage stability chamber inventory and calendar, notifying project staff of events.
• Pull and organize samples for shipment to Pearl sites or external groups.
• Prepare inventory lists periodically to aid disposal of unneeded samples.
• May back up daily chamber monitoring and chart recorder management.
