Job Summary Details:

Hiring now for a full-time GMP Lab Cleaner position, with multiple shifts including weekends, located in the Rockville, MD area. The GMP Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean environment that complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This role involves coordinating and performing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of manufacturing rooms and critical equipment in a production environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and other hazards. Additional duties include organizing storage areas, routine inventory, and restocking supplies.

Pay:

$25.00 per hour

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain buildings and facilities
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
• Notify management of repairs or system needs
• Maintain effective communication with clients and team members
• Comply with safety, security, and quality standards
• Clean furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning
• Clean interior glass, windows, and mirrors
• Wash and replace blinds
• Empty trash and perform seasonal outdoor tasks like snow removal
• Clean and supply restrooms

This role is suitable for individuals entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience or education. ABM is veteran-friendly, and military experience is encouraged. Military Occupational Specialty Codes include 92S, 92Y, LS, DC.
