Job summary

Smart Precise Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Engineer primarily based in Puerto Rico to support GMP/compliant facilities projects for medical devices clients. You will perform field verifications, develop SOPs, and collaborate with Engineering, QA, EHS, and Validation teams while traveling to client sites, including California.

The role requires 3–7 years in regulated facilities, a relevant engineering degree, and bilingual Spanish/English ability to coordinate across teams in PR and CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Facilities/Utilities within a regulated industry.
• Experience in writing technical SOPs.
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and document control.
• Ability to interpret drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual: advanced Spanish and English (PR & CA teams).
• Experience with GMP-supporting and non-GMP facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains GMP, FDA, and other regulations in Facilities & Utilities documentation.
• Ensures up-to-date operational documentation.
• Performs field verifications of critical systems (emergency generators, UPS, HVAC, etc).
• Develops and updates SOPs; coordinates reviews with multiple teams.
• Supports Change Control and Document Control processes.
• Travels to client sites (e.g., California) as needed.
