Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Facilities Contractor Coordinator at the Sturgis, MI site within Abbott Nutrition. You will provide support and oversight to contract workers in manufacturing, ensuring GMP adherence, proper sanitation, and root cause investigations.

As part of the team, you will interact with external partners and plant personnel to minimize risks to safety and quality, comply with FDA and other regulations, and help train contractors on safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage multi-tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to contract workers in Manufacturing for GMP adherence and sanitation.
• Interact with external and plant personnel to ensure contractor projects meet safety and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, OSHA and Abbott regulations.
• Oversee safety/quality checklists and training of contract personnel.
