Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Production Technician I to execute manufacturing processes in formulation, encapsulation, and packaging with supervision. You will set up equipment for routine processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operations meet GMP standards while contributing to continuous improvement.

The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds; strong attention to quality and safety is essential, with opportunities to train colleagues and support ALCOA-compliant batch

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Previous general manufacturing experience required.
• 2–3 years cGMP manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot.
• Familiarity with SAP, MAXIMO, and HMI systems.

Responsibilities

• Work directly on the line while executing scheduling priorities, daily assignment, and production expectations for the day.
• Set up, running, blowing, cleaning, and clearing equipment according to the BOP/Master batch record.
• Minor troubleshooting on equipment and process related issues and performs repairs; perform all in process quality checks accurately.
• Trains colleagues on equipment and process for which they are a qualified trainer.
• Demonstrates AbbVie behaviors including good attendance, teamwork, respectful communications, and a positive attitude.
• Follow all Environmental Health and Safety procedures and guideline policies and participate in safety initiatives.
• Complete batch record steps following ALCOA and GMP processes; maintain audit-ready production area and adhere to regulations.
