Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, efficient operations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor in Lexington.

The role requires 2–4 years of industrial maintenance experience, familiarity with GMP standards, and ability to document maintenance and calibration activities accurately. OSHA/ISPE/FDA guidelines knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced technical certification preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience in industrial maintenance at a manufacturing facility, preferably in a cGMP-related environment.

Responsibilities

• Uses hand tools, power tools and delicate testing equipment in performance of duties.
• Completes basic maintenance procedures with minimal supervision.
• Complete complex maintenance with limited supervision.
• Completes maintenance work orders for regulated and un-regulated systems.
• Performs routine checks/inspection routes and records equipment readings.
• Documentation of Preventive Maintenance and Calibration under GMP guidelines.
• Activation of equipment following established procedures.
• Schedule and complete monthly work assignments.
• Coordinate with contractors for routine deliveries or inspections per procedures.
• Recommend facility improvements to meet OSHA, ISPE or FDA guidelines.
• Create and update maintenance procedures to reflect best practices.
