Job summary

Mikart, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist in Atlanta to maintain accurate inventory records and support efficient warehouse operations. You will ensure materials are received, stored, and issued per procedures, while maintaining GMP compliance and safe, organized work areas.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, data entry in the ERP system, and collaborating with production and quality teams to resolve discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse, inventory control, or distribution preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environment preferred.
• Experience using inventory management, warehouse management, or ERP systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret inventory records and documentation.
• Knowledge of GMP and warehouse procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, item numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, and supporting documentation.
• Enter and maintain inventory transactions accurately in the inventory management system.
• Conduct cycle counts and participate in scheduled physical inventories.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies by reviewing system transactions, documentation, and physical inventory.
• Verify that inventory is stored in the correct location and under appropriate storage conditions.
• Perform inventory transfers between warehouse locations and production areas as required.
• Pick, stage, and issue materials according to production schedules, work orders, and established procedures.
• Monitor inventory for damaged, expired, quarantined, or restricted materials and ensure proper identification and segregation.
• Maintain accurate inventory logs, count sheets, receiving records, and other required documentation.
• Assist with investigation and resolution of inventory-related deviations and discrepancies.
• Communicate inventory concerns, shortages, discrepancies, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor or department.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, scales, and other material-handling equipment as trained.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures, GMP requirements, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
