Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in St. Louis, MO is seeking a full-time analytical scientist to support biotherapeutic process development, focusing on large molecules.

The role requires GMP familiarity and hands-on experience with qPCR, ELISA, UV-Vis, and HPLC. You will maintain electronic lab notebooks, work Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with GMP documentation and electronic lab notebooks.
• Experience with plate-based assays, qPCR and HPLC is required.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in biotechnology, biochemical engineering, analytical chemistry or chemical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to biotherapeutic process development teams for large molecules.
• Demonstrate expertise in qPCR, ELISA, UV-Vis, and chromatographic separations (HPLC/UPLC).
• Maintain GMP-compliant documentation and electronic lab notebooks.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

The position will be providing analytical support to biotherapeutic process development teams, specifically focusing on large molecules (proteins, polysaccharides, nucleic acids, etc.).

Candidates should have familiarity with several of the below laboratory techniques; they should also possess expertise/knowledge with:

• Good Manufacutring Practices
• Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR)
• Enzyme linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA)
• Ultraviolet and visual light spectroscopy (UV-Vis)
• Analytical chromatographic separations using HPLCs or UPLCs

Qualifications

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

• Electronic laboratory notebook systems and/or GMP documentation practice
• Experience with Plate-based assays, qPCR and HPLC is required.
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other related fields.
• 1-3 years of relevant GMP industrial experience
• Preferred experience: Empower or OpenLabs Software
