Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an analytical professional to perform routine and non-routine testing in a GMP-regulated laboratory. You will use HPLC/UPLC, UV-VIS, pH meters, TOC, osmometers and conductivity meters and will create and review GMP documentation.

Leadership responsibilities include training, coaching, and planning workflows while ensuring compliance with company policies. The role requires strong analytical skills and authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry with a minimum of 2 years in a laboratory environment.
• Hands-on analytical testing experience in a GMP/cGMP environment.
• Experience with analytical standards, reagents, and laboratory instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of pharmaceutical products, raw materials, validation, stability, and process samples in a GMP-regulated lab.
• Utilize instruments (HPLC/UPLC, UV-VIS, pH meters, TOC, osmometers, conductivity) per procedures.
• Create, review and approve GMP documentation (test records, validation protocols/reports, methods, equipment records).
• Act as a technical resource, trainer, and troubleshooter for the department.
• Recommend operational/technical improvements and supervise time-entry for staff.

Job Description

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of pharmaceutical products, raw materials, validation, stability, and process samples within a GMP-regulated laboratory
• Utilize laboratory instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures to include but not limited to appearance hoods, pH meters, conductivity meters, Solo VPE, Osmometers, UV-VIS, HPLC, UPLC, TOC and conductivity, and various other instruments
• Responsible for appropriate creation, review and approval of GMP documentation (test records, and as assigned validation protocols/reports, test methods, equipment records, etc.)

Leadership Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical resource, trainer, and troubleshooter for the department
• Make recommendations for operational and/or technical improvements
• Communicate effectively within the group
• Coach and develop direct reports
• Plan and monitor workflows
• Monitor and approve employees’ time worked through time-entry system
• Support and promote company policies and procedures

The site is not accessible by public transportation routes/options.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory environment, QC laboratory preferred.
• Experience working with analytical standards, reagents, and laboratory instruments
• Successful hands-on analytical testing experience in a Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} environment
• Understanding and performing analytical testing and the use of analytical equipment: i.e. UV-VIS, HPLC, UPLC, pH, appearance, osmolality, TOC and conductivity
• Capability to perform complex mathematical problems and perform complex data analysis
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions

Additional Information

Position is full-time,Monday-Friday, generally 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., weekend work might be expected.
