Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Instrumentation/Calibration Technician for a large-scale pharma expansion in Raleigh, NC. The role covers calibration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance in a GMP environment, with opportunity for growth on a greenfield site.

Candidates should have a two-year technical degree or equivalent training, 2+ years of related experience, and strong documentation and communication skills to support regulatory readiness and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in calibration, instrumentation, metrology, I&E or related field.
• Proficient in troubleshooting equipment or instrumentation.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Experience across manufacturing, industrial, pharma or related environments.
• Familiar with pressure, temperature, flow, conductivity, pH, loop checks or transmitters.

Responsibilities

• Perform process calibrations on temperature, pressure, flow, conductivity and pH instruments.
• Support equipment startup, commissioning and operational readiness.
• Conduct loop checks and troubleshoot instrumentation and manufacturing equipment.
• Read P&IDs, schematics and instrumentation documentation; maintain calibration records.
