Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Metrology Technician to join our Concord, NC team on a fully onsite basis. The role begins on first shift with transition to second shift and supervisory duties as you gain experience.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years calibration experience in a regulated environment, a two-year technical degree, and a solid grasp of GMP/Life Science controls. This contract-to-hire position emphasizes safety, quality, and hands-on calibration work close to major NC life science clients.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years calibration experience, preferably in regulated environments.
• GMP/Life Science understanding preferred.
• On-site role in Concord, NC with shift progression.
• Heavy emphasis on safety and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance with proper GxP documentation.
• Perform calibrations including flow, conductivity, pH, mass, and dimensional checks with guidance.
• Handle and maintain equipment and testing standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair with focus on scheduled calibrations and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with client site safety requirements.
• Develop solutions by assessing client environments and requirements.
