Job summary

Genezen in Lexington, MA is seeking a Procurement Specialist II to ensure on-time delivery of compliant materials for Operations. You will manage day-to-day purchasing, vendor relationships, and collaborate with internal stakeholders under cGMP guidelines.

You will monitor inventory, gather quotes, process POs, maintain ERP item data, and contribute to cross-functional efforts with Finance, Manufacturing, QA/QC, Planning, and Warehouse.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in business or related field and APICS Certification.
• Experience with GMP/regulated environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and data management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the procurement of GMP materials in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and support analysis of historical trends to help prevent stockouts.
• Coordinate with vendors to gather quotes, confirm lead times, and process purchase orders.
• Maintain and update item master data in the ERP system as directed.
• Learn and apply GMP and procurement best practices through daily activities and team training.
• Meet with internal customers to assess needs and create forecasts.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams including Finance, Manufacturing, QA/QC, Planning/Scheduling and Warehouse.
