Job summary

Universal Health Services seeks a Data and Research Analyst to support GME resident scholarly activity. You will coordinate research data, develop dashboards, ensure regulatory compliance, and evaluate outcomes to drive quality improvement initiatives.

Role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 2+ years in data analytics, and experience with BI tools. MPH/MHA preferred. Collaborative, data-driven environment with emphasis on timely milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Research Methodology, Business Analytics, or a related field. Preferred: MPH/MHA/Data Analytics/Biostatistics or related field.
• Two years of experience in data analysis, research administration, program evaluation, quality improvement, healthcare analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Experience utilizing data visualization and business intelligence tools to develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of research methodologies, data collection practices, statistical analysis, and quality improvement principles, preferably within healthcare, academic medicine, or higher education settings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate timelines and deliverables, analyze complex data sets, and communicate findings effectively through written reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, track, analyze, and report research-related data using business intelligence tools.
• Manage and monitor resident research and quality improvement projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop data-driven reports and dashboards to support research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Guide data collection efforts, enhance data quality and statistical efficiency, identify trends and outcomes.
• Evaluate resident research productivity and the impact of institutional scholarly activities and improvement efforts.
