Job summary

Billings Auto Group in Billings, MT is seeking a results-driven Sales Associate to help customers select vehicles, demonstrate features, and close sales. You will guide buyers from inquiry to purchase, ensuring satisfaction and building a loyal customer base.

Previous automotive or retail sales experience is a plus. The role rewards performance with advancement opportunities, paid training, PTO up to 14 days per year, and an Employee Vehicle Purchase Plan.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive and/or retail sales experience a plus.
• Desire to provide a high level of customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be goal-driven and have a strong desire to succeed.
• Excellent organizational, planning and strategizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Understands vehicles by studying characteristics, capabilities and features.
• Assists customers by understanding their needs and matches those requirements to our inventory.
• Demonstrates vehicles, takes test drives and explains warranty and service programs.
• Develops buyers by building and maintaining rapport with previous customers and growing a new customer database.
• Completes sale by meeting customer expectations, asks for the sale and negotiates price.
• Delivers vehicle to customer by providing a comprehensive review of all the features to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Participates in sales events.
• Monitors market conditions and product development.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities provided by the company/manufacturer.
