A Store Manager grows retail shop sales in all categories and implements ‘best practice’ of each component of the retail offer. This position ensures competent, capable employees are recognized and developed through ongoing training.Key AccountabilitiesFinancial ResponsibilitiesManage and track the following elements:Store SalesNet ProfitOverall Store BusinessPeople ManagementRecruit and select new employeesOverall management and responsibility of Sandwich Artist, Shift Managers, Assistant ManagersEnsure that new employees are trained and inducted in accordance with Subway training requirementsProvide ongoing coaching of employees and lead expectations by examplePrepare the rosters in line with budgeted labor and man hoursRun employee counseling sessions and Investigation Meetings. Inform District Supervisor of escalated employee issuesPerform employee appraisals once every quarterMentor Assistant Managers as requiredBusiness AcumenDevelop and monitor store labor budgets and man hoursInvoicing, ordering and daily bankingPrepare required paperwork in relation to stock and sales.
