Job summary

Grieco Automotive Group in Florida is seeking professional, positive, motivated General Motors Automotive Technicians. You will perform repairs on GM vehicles, explain diagnoses to customers, and uphold high standards of service in a fast-paced dealership environment.

This full-time role offers a supportive team, opportunities to grow with the brand, and benefits including 401K, PTO, holidays, and discounts across company brands. Valid driver’s license and CDK knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have GMIN Number.
• 2 Years in GM Dealer Experience.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals (teammates and customers).
• Execute repairs on GM vehicles under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• General automobile knowledge across manufacturers.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C).
• Continually learns new technical information to stay updated with advancing automotive tech.
• Keeps store management aware of repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and clean service department.
• Valid driver’s license and professional appearance.
• Excellent communication skills to convey solutions clearly.
• CDK knowledge is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in-order to stay abreast with the ever rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and clean service department.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate solutions to others.

Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Automotive Service Tech Experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to bend, stoop, kneel and lift to at least 50lbs.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, and MVR.
