Job summary

Grieco Automotive Group is seeking professional, motivated Used Car Automotive Technicians. You will diagnose, repair, and explain repairs to customers, test-drive vehicles, and ensure quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and teammates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and inspect engine, transmission, brakes, A/C, and other systems.
• Maintain an organized and clean service department.

Grieco Automotive Group is looking for professional, positive, motivated Used Car Automotive Technicians. Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other teammates and customers when required.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• General automobile knowledge on various manufacturers.
• Test-drive vehicles, test components and systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in-order to stay abreast with the ever rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and clean service department.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Valid driver's license.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate solutions to others.
• Any other duties assigned

• CDK knowledge is helpful

Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Automotive Service Tech Experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to bend, stoop, kneel and lift to at least 50lbs.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, and MVR.
