Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader for our San Luis Obispo store to lead guest-focused operations and a dynamic team. You will drive daily tasks, coaching, and merchandising efforts to maintain an outstanding guest experience and store performance.

Responsibilities include managing workload, inventory accuracy, pricing, and fulfilling guest needs while upholding safety, policies, and high standards of teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 44 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments and ensure consistent operations.
• Train and develop hourly team members and lead with direct leader guidance.
• Lead daily/weekly workload to hit department and store goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, pricing, and signage on the sales floor.
• Assist with pick, pack and ship fulfillment where applicable.
• Uphold safety, compliance and teamwork across the store.
