Recurly is seeking a Principal Product Manager to run Recurly Commerce as a founder-style business. You will own vision, strategy, and roadmap, and directly drive commercial success across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer teams.

You’ll thrive if you’ve built a B2B product from 0 to 1 at a startup, know Shopify inside-out, and are comfortable wearing multiple hats from strategist to deal-closer to hands-on problem-solver.

Qualifications

• 0-to-1 startup experience leading a B2B product to scale.
• Deep Shopify ecosystem knowledge (APIs, Shopify Plus, partners).
• Owner mentality with ambiguity tolerance and accountability.
• Track record aligning Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Customer teams.
• Strong vision, strategy and roadmapping, with execution discipline.
• Comfortable in technical conversations and trade-offs.
• Strong communication and executive presence across roles.
• 7+ years of B2B SaaS product management with 0-to-1 ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own the Commerce business vision, strategy and roadmap with commercial accountability.
• Define a 0-to-1 playbook to move from bets to scaled traction.
• Engage deeply with Shopify ecosystem to differentiate from competitors.
• Lead cross-functionally without formal authority across teams.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing on positioning, pricing and enablement.
• Deliver end-to-end lifecycle from discovery to launch with speed to market.
• Define KPIs and measure impact to inform roadmap decisions.
• Hands-on problem solving across spec writing, escalations, and debugging.
