Job summary

Bill Hood Chevrolet seeks skilled automotive technicians to join our Service team in Covington, LA. You will perform vehicle repair and maintenance on GM vehicles, following dealer and factory standards.

You will diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, and road-test vehicles while keeping the shop clean and professional. Two years of experience or trade school, GM training, and ASE certifications are preferred for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have technical aptitude.
• Technical or trade school degree preferred.
• GM factory training required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Keep shop area/work area clean and kept up.
• Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair.
