Job summary

Galleria Chevrolet is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles per dealer and factory standards. You may also perform pre-delivery service on new vehicles to ensure top condition for customers.

Qualifications

• ASE certification(s) or certifications in brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Safety and customer service oriented.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality repair work per dealership and factory standards.
• Check fluids and replace fluids/filters as needed.
• Conduct routine service inspections and standard maintenance jobs.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during service or repairs.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
• Follow shop policies, safety and environmental rules.
• Assist with inventory stocking and general shop duties.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
• Perform diagnostics and automotive troubleshooting.
• Communicate status and ETA to service advisors.
