Job summary

Bill Hood Chevrolet is seeking skilled Service Technicians to perform vehicle repair and maintenance on GM vehicles in our in-house service department. The role requires adhering to dealer and factory standards, and strong diagnostic abilities to ensure high-quality repairs.

The ideal candidate will have two years of automotive mechanical experience or trade school, GM factory training, and a valid driver's license. This is a full-time in-person position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years automotive mechanical experience or automotive trade school.
• GM factory training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have technical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Keep shop area/work area clean and kept up.
• Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure of quality repair.
