Job summary

Ruge's Chevrolet in Millbrook, NY is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles using GM diagnostic tools. You will handle warranty, customer-pay and maintenance work and document repairs on repair orders.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a dealership or independent shop, strong diagnostic skills, your own tools, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. GM and in-house training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a dealership or independent shop
• Solid diagnostic skills
• Your own tools
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles using GM diagnostic tools and service information
• Perform warranty, customer-pay and maintenance work
• Inspect vehicles and recommend needed repairs
• Document your work clearly on repair orders
• Build your skills through GM and in-house training
