Job Details: Job Location: Bob Johnson GM Inc - Leroy, NY, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $52000.00 - $104000.00Salary/year, Job Category: Admin - Clerical, Bob Johnson GM, Inc. is looking for an experienced, highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our Chevrolet and GMC service department in LeRoy, NY.

This position is geared toward a technician who is comfortable handling advanced diagnostics, electrical concerns, drivability issues, engine and transmission repairs, and more complex mechanical work. GM experience is strongly preferred, and the more GM training, certifications, and dealership experience you bring, the better.

What We’re Looking For

• Several years of professional automotive repair experience
• GM dealership experience strongly preferred
• GM training and certifications are a major plus
• Chevrolet and GMC experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and electrical skills
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex vehicle concerns
• Experience with engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of workmanship
• Comfortable working independently and managing a full workload
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional attitude and good communication skills
• Valid driver's license

Compensation & Benefits

Expected annual compensation range: $52,000 – $104,000+

Compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, certifications, productivity, and the structure that makes the most sense for the position.

Our preference is toward a productive flat-rate technician, but we are open to discussing different compensation structures based on the experience and abilities of the right candidate.
