Job summary

Steve Rayman Chevrolet is seeking an experienced GM Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. You will diagnose and repair GM vehicles to the brand's high standards and help deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum professional automotive technician experience.
• GM dealership experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical service information.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs on GM vehicles.
• Diagnose complex electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, HVAC, and chassis concerns.
• Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs according to GM procedures.
• Utilize GM diagnostic equipment, service information, and technical resources.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Perform multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Properly document diagnostic findings and repairs performed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, and other technicians to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Stay current on GM technical information, service procedures, and product updates.
