Job summary

Civitech, a remote-first public benefit corporation, seeks a General Manager for RunningMate, its new product line. You will lead a cross-functional team of about 10 people, own revenue growth, and guide RunningMate’s 2027 strategy and plan.

The GM will manage P&L, budgets, and align Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Partnerships to pursue market opportunities within the political ecosystem. A strong track record in progressive politics and revenue leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in progressive politics.
• Strong knowledge of the Democratic political and campaign ecosystem.
• Proven track record delivering revenue growth and P&L accountability.
• Experience scaling a product or revenue stream in a startup or growth company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the RunningMate business unit, align cross-functional teams to shared goals.
• Set strategy for growth, budget, GTM, and target customers/organizations.
• Own RunningMate P&L and overall business performance.
• Align Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Partnerships around a cohesive strategy.
• Shape and prioritize the product roadmap with market needs and customer feedback.
• Serve as the primary ambassador for RunningMate to campaigns, parties, and partners.
• Develop and drive the 2027 planning cycle with clear priorities and measures.
